To ensure stable data transmission, using a data cable that supports high polling rates is crucial. While other cables supporting an 8 kHz polling rate may theoretically work, we highly recommend using the original cable for optimal stability and compatibility.
Using a non-original cable may lead to the following issues:
- Keyboard Disconnections: Non-original or poorly compatible cables may cause unstable signal transmission, leading to keyboard disconnections that disrupt normal use.
- Failure to be Recognized by the IO Driver: Some non-original cables may be incompatible with the IO port during data transmission, preventing the system from recognizing the keyboard.
- Firmware Upgrade Failures: Firmware upgrades require a stable signal. Using an unsuitable cable may cause the upgrade process to be interrupted or fail, negatively affecting the keyboard's performance and functionality.
Therefore, to ensure normal operation at high polling rates and successful firmware updates, using the original data cable remains the safest and most reliable choice.
