Key Issues Troubleshooting

1. Unresponsive or Delayed Keys

• Description: Some keys do not respond when pressed, or require multiple presses to register, disrupting normal use.
• Solutions:
  1. First, check if any debris is stuck under the key. Gently tap the keyboard or use a small tool to clean the gaps between the keys, ensuring the key can pop back up properly.
  2. Try replacing the switch for the affected key. When replacing, ensure the new switch is compatible with your keyboard and install it in the correct orientation.
  3. If the issue persists, try updating the keyboard firmware and test the keys again to see if normal functionality is restored.
  4. If the issue only occurs in 2.4G mode, it may be a receiver issue. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port to avoid signal interference, or replace the receiver.

2. Key Chattering or Double Typing

• Description: When pressing a specific key, the keyboard continuously outputs multiple identical characters, or a single keypress is registered as multiple simultaneous inputs.
• Solutions:
  1. Check if the chattering is caused by improper lubrication or a faulty switch. Please try replacing the switch for that specific key to see if it resolves the problem.
  2. Update the keyboard firmware to the latest version and re-pair the Bluetooth or USB receiver. Test the keys again after the update.
  3. If the issue only occurs in 2.4G mode, it may be a receiver issue. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port to avoid signal interference, or replace the receiver.

3. Abnormal Key Functions

• Description: Some keys do not perform their expected functions, or the combination keys (shortcuts) are not working correctly.
• Solutions:
  1. Ensure the keyboard is set to the correct mode. Some keyboards have different functional modes that may need to be switched using specific key combinations or toggle switches to ensure proper key functionality.
  2. Verify that your device's input method (keyboard layout) settings are correct. In some cases, incorrect input method settings can cause abnormal key behavior. Try switching the input method or resetting its shortcut configurations.
  3. If the abnormal key functions are caused by a firmware glitch, try updating the keyboard firmware. After the update, perform a factory reset on the keyboard and check if the key functions return to normal.
  4. If the issue only occurs in 2.4G mode, it may be a receiver issue. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port to avoid signal interference, or replace the receiver.
